Department Rules

All general rules and regulations for the Madison County Fair apply to this department.
This show is open to all youth, including 4-H and FFA exhibitors, with a limit of 12 rabbits per exhibitor.
Fur entries will be limited to two(2) rabbits per exhibitor per class. They must be shown in regular class. Disqualified rabbits are not eligible to compete in fur.
Rabbits must be at least three (3) months old to be eligible to compete.
Stock MUST be owned by the exhibitor at least 45 days prior to the show
This is a non-sanctioned Rabbit Show, but will be judged according to the American Rabbit Breeders Standard of Perfection.
Breeds will be shown by ARBA guidelines, divided by Group, Variety, Sex and Age at the discretion of the Department Head to keep classes competitive.
Rabbits must be checked in by 8:30 a.m., Thursday, July 17, with judging starting at 9:00 a.m.
Rabbits must be in a carrier with good ventilation.
Health Regulations: Sick stock will not be allowed to exhibit.
Rabbits must be marked in the left ear, tattoo preferable, but black marker is accepted.
Entry fees will be $1.00 per rabbit.
Premiums for each class will be: 1st-$3; 2nd-$2; 3rd-$1; 4th-$0.50; 5th and 6th- Ribbons.

All entries are due on the day of the show
