Section KN: Farm Crops



SECTION RULES
1. All crops must have been grown since the last fair from the home or farm under the care of the person in whose name they are entered. For youth entries, a farm cared for a relative is acceptable providing that the youth helped with the majority of planting, care, and harvesting. Items by a group must be entered under the group's name, not by a single person.
2. All items must have been grown or made since the previous fair.
3. All loose grains must be cleaned and in a clear quart jar.
4. All honey and sorghum must be in clear pint or quart jars and properly labeled.
5. All eggs must be from birds under the primary care of the person in whose name they are submitted. Eggs should be submitted in egg cartons, big end up. Eggs will be judged on cleanliness, uniformity of size, and color.
6. All hay and straw must be submitted as one slice, tied. Whole bales will not be accepted.
