Section KG: Photography

SECTION RULES

1. Articles must be the work of the person in whose name they are entered.
2. Photos must have been taken (not just developed) since the last fair.
3. Photos may be from digital or film cameras.
4. Photos must be printed on quality photo paper. Home prints on regular copy paper will not be accepted.
5. Entries are judged on appearance, composition, tone, balance, clarity, contrast, and suitability to category entered. Color photos will also be judged on use of color, while black & white photos will be judged on range of tones and contrast.
6. Only one entry per exhibitor per class.
7. Except for class KG-14, photos must be mounted on a piece of WHITE poster board, illustration board, or mat board, with a margin of one to two inches all around. Photos may not be in frames! Photos mounted incorrectly will not be accepted.
8. Titling of photos is optional.
9. Photos may be color or black & white (except where designated). They will be judged together in classes.
10. Acceptable photo sizes range from 3.5 x 5 to 8 x 12, or a panoramic shot.
11. Special note for 2008: Due to space restrictions, exhibitors will be limited to eight entries in this section.
